Digging through more boxes of stuff from my last buy out I came across this newer swiss made Hamilton pocket watch. It has original paper work and even a advertisement. Paper work says it sold for $398 which seems kinda steep. Does anyone ever remember these. I think it is a very sharp watch and comes in a gorgeous wooden case.

I have no idea on these newer swiss made models. I looked on the ad to see if I could see a date but I couldnt find one. This watch is a beauty though even if it isnt real old.

Robert,

It's Swiss from the mid 70's. Looks like a Unitas 6497 base Movt. with nice finish. Also looks to be in excellent condition and is likely a good and reliable timekeeper.

I like it!

William

Thanks William I wasnt sure what the time date was although I knew it was a newer swiss model. In hand it is very sharp and in flawless condition. So much so I am deciding whether I want to keep it. I usually sell most because I need the money to keep turning to keep buying but this one has caught my eye even though it is newer. I guess it is because I feel it wont bring much and I see the beauty in it.

Hi Robert;

I think that's a very beautiful timepiece you have there. I love the colors inside, on the movement and the contrast between the jewels and the gold settings is absolutely spectacular.

It truly shines Robert, it really does.
