I bought a watch movement out of curiosity more than anything else. The movement was very cheap. On the dial is the following: Railway Watch Manufacturer at the top of the dial in a semi-circle, Below that was Thomas Wheeler and below that was Preston. The same information was on the movement. Does anyone have any information on this movement? Don't have the movement in hand but will have it shortly. Thank, John

I have a Thomas Wheeler It is 9 jewels. If you do not have the case it will be very hard to find one . there is nothing on the case except the silver hallmarks. And it is an odd size. My Wheeler keeps great time. Harv

Thanks Harv. I don't have the case and other things are probably missing. When I get it, I want to play around with it to see what I can learn. John

John if you do not get luck and find a case and when you get tired of playing with it, let me know I am interested in it for a parts watch. I had to have a balance staff made for mine. Harv
