Can someone tell from these photos, what is the case made of? It is a coppery colour so I don't know if it is some kind of gold alloy. The watch is Illinois serial number 260693 and the case number is 1542 ![]() | ||

Normally I'd expect to find the case maker's signature somewhere, inside the front or back cover, or inside the cuvette, which should refer to gold content, like a hallmark, whether it's gold-filled or solid gold, etc. The case number means nothing in that regard. If it truly has no such markings, you'd have to test it to find out. Best Regards, Ed | |||
