Although a good looking watch I do not believe this is original case so I thought I would ask the experts | ||

It could be.... Movement is from 1928 and I believe that they were still selling 992's as movements only during that time. Hamilton started factory casing "most" of their RR movements as early as 1924 and a few even earlier than that, and by the 1930's it was more or less an accepted practice by all of the watch companies. regards, bb | |||

I have not clue as to how original or authentic (for the 992) the case is --- but I like it a lot! My 992 are in cases with long slender, seemingly fragile pendants. Yours looks quite robust. I like the 992 movement a lot, and I have seen a lot of variety, some - like yours - are quite beautiful. | ||||
