Peter another hobby of mine is cutting gemstones so I have an 8" Hi-Teck Diamond All You Need. It has 5 diamond disk and a felt lap for final polish. Since a lot of gemstones are harder than glass this works fine on the glass crystal. If it has deep scratches I start with the 1200 or even the 600 diamond disk and sand the glass smooth. Then I end up using the cerium oxide and water on the felt lap to polish. | |||
