I originally asked about a 946. and Ed responded to the 946. Then I corrected it to a 936. Sorry about any confusion as I posting using my iPhone and I had fat fingers syndrome.

Not terribly, from about 1907 on they were marked if memory serves. Many collectors consider the later "fully marked" examples more desirable though.

Fully Marked 946 Example (movement #688121, circa 1913)

Here's a 946 catalog entry from 1909. As you can see, listed features include motor barrel, which was also marked on the movement by this time, although I don't see it on the movement marking. Adjusted 5 positions should have been marked on the movement by this time and I don't see that either -- they must have re-used an older image in the ad.

Wow, that's quite a bargain for a complete 946 in good shapes, I wouldn't let any grass grow under my feet with that if I needed it.

Are you sure it's not a 936, LOL?

Best Regards,

Ed

Oh I see, you originally said 946, now I see you changed it. Still, I don't consider $250 a bad price for a 936 in nice condition.

Best Regards,

Ed
