Hello, I haven't tried this but, was wondering if you can switch movements from a hunting case to an open face case? Is there a size difference? Thanks.

for the most part you can. Hence the term "sidewinder". You will note that the 12 will not be at the stem position.

I believe that sometimes the setting lever might not be in the correct position, but am not sure about that.
