Part Needed to help out a Watch "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I just picked up this beautiful 950 Elinvar movement, but it happens to be missing the cock arm and balance wheel. I should have the balance assembly, but I am in need of the cock arm for sure. I know the numbers wouldn't match, but I hate to see such a nice watch go to waste. Does anyone ahppen to know of another parts watch with a good cock arm (and also possibly balance assembly) they would be willing to part with?

Thanks,

Jared

Jared, what I would do in your situation is to find out if the P/N's for the Balance cock and wheel/hairspring, etc., are used for less expensive movements (992E, etc.) of the same period. Then look for one of those movements on eBay and use it for parts.
