Illinois Sangamo Special "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hello,
I acquired this watch two weeks ago and I carry it everyday. I will try and post photos. My question is does everything look correct? I have looked in the research section and it appears that the case, hands, dial and movement all looks like they go together.
Regards,
Tim

I don't know a lot about Illinois watches, but I do have the same watch as you. My dial is a little different than yours. I bought mine back in Feb of 2016 and the guy told me everything was period correct. Ser.# 3862782 in case #5679963. Year of production I believe is 1921

Timothy,

Check your movement carefully. Some of them were finished with Diamond End stones for the balance wheel jewel. I believe mine has one.
