New to 185 Club, but I have a question and hope this the right place to ask.

I just bought a pocket watch with a Monitor movement #25787 in coin silver case
that I cant seem to get any information about the movement. any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Robert, we had some discussion of a Monitor shown below which was a good grade Swiss movement (below). The "Monitor" name could very well be a private label or Model name similar to Illinois Watch Co's "Monitor". If your watch movement looks similar to that pictured below, it is a quality movement.

Thanks very much for the information. The monitor
movement I have is slightly different with numerick numbers rather that Roman and the name (MONITOR) is in script rather than Block lettering.
I will try to post photos as soon as I learn how to do so

Robert
