They looks to be for a Hamilton 892, Swiss made with a 17 jewels Unitas movement.

They actually fit on the BOC 16sz Hamilton case too. I wonder if I guy had a brassed out tube on the BOC case and just used the tube off these, and kept the original bow.

These bows were marketed by S. Larose and others as replacement bows for the Bar O Crown cases.

I believe the tubes "could" be used on the regular screws on the original bows, but they are a bit long and a hair larger diameter tube than the originals. They can be ground/sanded/cut down for the correct length but the diameter is going to always be there and they are going to be a bit big and fairly easy to tell + they may rub a bit on the top of the crown.

You are correct the tubes are a hair too long. However, with a light and gentle sanding they do work. I will have to dig around, I remember seeing one of them on a BOC case as a replacement...
