Hamilton 950B hands question "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hello group, I’ve been out of the collecting hobby for a while but getting back into it. So I have acquired a 950B with serial number S25773. I’m wondering if the hands on this dial are possibly correct. I’ve always seen the baton hands on 950B but heard later ones got 992b hands.

IMO that has the earlier (1940s-1955 or so) dial on it. Your watch is from the 1960s and has the original model 17 case on it. I may be wrong, but the 60s watches were all montgomery dials on the 950Bs, and I believe they had the blued spade hands altho the black ones MAY be correct. My -02
