After sorting through some movements to sell as "steampunk", I noticed one that had a part to fix a movement I stuck away somewhere months ago. Ah - I remember - a 18s Waltham that would not wind. The donor - Photo #1  | |||

After removing the balance, barrel, and top plate, you can clearly see the bad guy Photo #2  | ||||

Not sure if it is common for the "Yoke Spring" to break or not. It is the 1st one I have ever ran across INOP (no expert - just an old rusty Warrant Officer) | ||||
