American Watch Case Co. out of Toronto used the name Derby. Found a link where someone else mentioned having a case with those markings as being Canadian, there is a photo of the case front but not the markings. https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...861054991#7861054991 | |||

I believe the Canadians imposed a tariff on American cases in order to encourage local industry. At least some Canadian cases were made by American makers who set up in Canada. Deacon | |||
