On Henry, it would take a little more info to pin him down. Any idea what area the watch came from? Could it be Canada due to the case?

I found Henry H Krause in the following after a quick look;
Born 1863 lived in Pa
1883 Michigan
1891 Ks
1902 Wi
1907 Il
1910 MN
1915 MN
1927 Il
And more after that, plus all the ones without a middle initial listed. Wish I could tell you which one.

Nice watch too!

Tom

Even the second hand is original but I am not sure if the Dial and hands are actually "period correct" to the 1918 vintage movement. If you can verify the Diamond endstone (it would be a cut diamond) makes in even more interesting.

Roger, This is the bow on my NAWCOO security. I don't know for sure that it is correct. Someone more familiar with the case may confirm........Keith

Tom and David,I got this watch in the Dallas,Tx area but of course where the watch came from will remain a mystery to me.David,the end stone is not diamond upon close observation.None of the jewels are Red in color.So what kind of jewels were normally used in the 645? Roger

At the time this watch was made, Waltham was producing most of their own Jewels from many hard crystalline materials. This would include include Agate, clear Sapphire, the "new" man-made dyed sapphires, and ruby.

There does seem to be different color jewels in these 645's.Mine (17 mil. SN) has dark ugly brown jewels, but I've seen some with nice bright color jewels with gold-looking settings.Probably differences depending on runs.They are a great RR watch, considering how common they are today, I imagine they were one of if not the best selling Waltham 16s RR!Nice one Roger, even better with that Nawco case...Ted.
