Hi. I am working on an Eglin 581 military watch, and I am going to need a couple of items for it. One being a white mainspring and the other a click wheel. Does anyone know if parts from a 571 or some other more common Elgin can be used in this watch. The mainspring is the biggest problem.

Frei and Borel thinks that the mainspring from a grade 478 will work. There seems to be absolutely no info on these Elgin military watches.
