Hey, I usually stay over on the pocket watch side, but its a little slow ![]() Did the Hamilton 747 movement have military applications ![]() I gather it was a late 40's to a mid 50's movement and I wonder if any were used in our military ![]() ![]() ![]() regards, bb | ||

I know next to nothing about wrist watches but looking around the web it seems the grade 747 was used from about 1946-1955. The other examples I found are also marked USMC & then the OF number. Other sites list them as military movements & non hacking. The Training Manual 9-1575 doesn't list that watch but the markings OF were for 15-17 jewel wrist watches in water proof cases. Tom | |||
