Can someone tell me the production year of serial number 2E4976? Whitney's The Ship's Chronometer says they ordered it on 3-21-1942.

Any help would be great.

Actually, the contract was let in 1942. Your clock was finished and sold on 7/6/44 per Hamilton records. Hope that helps.
