Hi Kostas, There is the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) which was formed with 2 separate distinct branches, a Military branch and a Naval branch. I would say that this is the Naval branch, Royal Naval Flying Corps (RNFC) at best guess. Cheers

thank you ever so much =) K @ FullyWound

No, it is not Royal Naval Flying Corps. The Naval aviation branch of the British armed services was the Royal Naval Air Service - the RNAS. The RNAS was begun in July, 1914 and ended in April, 1918 when it was combined with the Royal Flying Corps to create the Royal Air Force. Then in April, 1924 Naval aviation was re-created as the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) which has continued until today. I do not know what RNFC might stand for but my initial thought is that it may not be military as this watch does not have the broad arrow marking on it.

Kostas, can you post a photo of the movement?

Perhaps it is the name of some company that issued watches to certain employees who needed them for their work?

Kostas, The Internet Horology Club 185 is a Non-Profit Educational Organization. Hosting images costs a lot of money and since dues for IHC185 Membership is a ridiculously low amount of $12.00 annually we try to keep costs to a minimum. Therefore, extremely large images cannot be viewed by those with slower internet connections or smaller screens. Due to those considerations and to avoid overloading storage capacity our system is set up to not accept poster size images. >> Proper size: 640 X 480 Pixels >> Resolution: approximately 72 Pixels/Inch Click here: How to Photograph Your Watches and Clocks In there you will find information about sizing your images and posting them on our site. Click these other links: HELP IN POSTING IMAGES FOR HOSTING ON OUR IHC185 DISCUSSION SITE Resize Photos THIS ONE IS DIRECTLY FROM APPLE and highly recommended by our IHC Members... Downsizing Images from iPad or iPhone How to Resize Images from Your Camera or Smartphone We discourage outside hosting image services as they tend to get deleted. In the past whenever someone loads images to those free hosting sites, we all to often see the image below, which can be very frustrating when someone is researching a particular watch. Hope this additional information helps, Debbie
