The following Elgin timer recently sold on eBay.

I would welcome comments, as this is the first example I have seen of this type of timer.

STOCK NO. R88-W-700 ELGIN THE STORAGE BOX HAS THE INFORMATION AS AIRCRAFT TIMER REINSPECTED 11-20-1947. THE CASE IS MARKED I.W.C. CO.BASE METAL NICKEL. THE STOP WATCH IS IN RUNNING CONDITION. IT WINDS AND STARTS AND STOPS AND THEN RESETS ON EACH PUSH OF THE BUTTON. IT WILL BE SOLD WITH THE ISSUED STORAGE BOX. IT WINDS AND RUNS FOR QUITE SOME TIME.
