For those of you that cruise Ebay, could you post some clocks in the "avoid the pitfalls" topic area. We could learn from you all on what to look out for and what is an nice example/collectable clock. It's nice to be able to buy what we talk about.

With so many repo's and put together pieces I hate to take a chance and you guys could point out some of the tricks of the trade.

Thanks

Great idea Rick!

Our members have been investigating fraudulent clock auctions and have exposed a lot of the "bad guys" in "Pitfalls" but you're right. We should show some more of the reputable clock dealers and their auctions. We will do much more of that!

NAWCC Marts for those who are able to attend them are a great source of fine clocks and worthwhile advice. Just this past Sunday I found a brand-new still-in-the-box Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos at the Chapter 28 Mart in Strongsville, Ohio.

Watch for a photo feature story on that fantastic clock in the coming days.

Stay Tuned!

This sounds like a great idea. I do not do a lot of serious clock buying on eBay. However, If I find something fishy I would be sure to post it here for other opinions.
