Just wondering if that make of movement originally has anything to do with a Walter Storz. I think he was somewhere around the Black Forest in Germany in the late 1920's.

Bila, there's a storz watch manufacture in the blackforest in Germany and i emailed them they didn't seem to interested and i could not find a link to Walter Storz making coukoo clocks another dead end. Thanks for your help. Dan

A close up of the movement and name markings probably would be advantageous Danny, maybe the "Storz" name on it is a model name not the maker?

Good point, my file is too big. I have plenty of photos if you wouldn't mind sharing your contact info with me i can send you all of the clock movement photos you might need. Danny

We're getting there. How about a picture of the clock itself. Dave Turner

I don't have the roof topper. It was languishing in a plastic basket at a flea market. I had to save it. It was too beautiful to let go. IO cleaned, oiled and serviced it and it runs great and keeps decent time. Regards Dan Perkins

If i make this image much smaller you wont be able to tell what it is Regards Dan Perkins ![]()

The clock width is 17.5" eave to eave The height is 21.5" from the bottom of the grapes to the tip of the roof. The grape branches have been repaired but with a little wax and patience it could be brought back to day 1. Finding the proper roof trim is proving to be a challenge it should be about 22 inches long tip to tip. Danny Regards Dan Perkins
