Chelsea Ships Bell Clock "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Hi all, been of the grid awhile. I just picked up a ships bell clock, circa 1944-1949, based on serial number. Does anyone know a reliable source to have it serviced? It needs a hairspring and work on the strike chain. I found a website "Chelsea Clocks.com", but wanted input from the IHC club. Any thoughts?

I would recommend a member here:
Paul Trombley for one!

I would recommend checking with Ron Bechler who is a Chelsea specialist and has done a lot of work for Chelsea. Also a good guy. Email at ronblechler@comcast.com

Hi Brian,

I've had some success with a few of the Chelseas.

Ron Bechler is my go to guy for parts and technical support.

I'd be happy to help you bring this one back to life.

I have a Chelsea that Paul repaired and am very pleased with it. I second the recommendation for Paul.
