Hi Chris,This is called a "NiteLite" clock.The cord has a button you push and a light bulb in front of the dial so you can tell time at night.They also had a bell alarm on the bottom.Hard to find a complete one that works.Not worth a lot,made in 20's and 30's.Regards,Norm
