It seems like the most popular case material is wood but there is other materials used for cases during the last 500 years aso....please post any clocks with different type materials other then wood.. here is one made of Whale Ivory and Whale baleen (the black material) with brass and siver nails (the black specks)

Don't come into the clock category to often, but figured I would post a pic of this clock. This Cathedral or Church clock is made almost entirely of Brass. Hand made in the early 1800's. I don't have my good camera handy, so I am not sure how the pic will look. Clock stands approx. 19" tall.
