Hi Dick, That deer looks like some here in Ms. who get "caught in the headlights". That look says I'm scared to death and don't know what to do.

Great clock! Tran's American Clocks Volume 3 identifies this one as "Deer Design Cuckoo D282 - 1942. Most of the Lux with cuckoo facade are not really cuckoo clocks.

This one, however, is described:

Cuckoos on the half hour and the hour. Bird emerges from behind the door and cuckoos lustily .


It doesn't get any better than that!! Wonderful clock! Thanks for the great photos.
