I am interested in starting a discussion of metal, and specifically gold plating.

I came across "The Midas Guide to Plating" manual, and find it does not appear to be a difficult process at all.

I have many worn gold pocket watch cases that could easily be restored to at least a 14K finish.

So, has anyone had any experience that they would like to share?

I am all ears (well eyes. :-)
