Andy KrietzerStephen,
Was it new when you got it? My brother got a similar one in the early 1970s that was plastic, a kit by Lindberg, I think. They started making a lot of these after the 1892 Columbian Exposition, but the ones I have seen were all wood.
Does it run?

Stephen L. RussellAndy,It runs sporadicly, and never for longer the 15 mins...needs constant adjusting.
It was,I'm told a reproduction from Germany, hand riveted etc.

Tom SeymourI have a couple of the "Columbus" clocks. They were, as mentioned, wood or plastic. I will post a picture as soon as I get a chance. I'm sure most have seen these before.
