I recently purchased a seth thomas 30 hour clock. I'm not sure if the heavier weight goes on the time or strike side. Thank you in advance for any help.

Stuart, Welcome to IHC. I hope you will enjoy your visits here. Lots of nice people. a real friendly gathering. The heavier weight would go on the strike side. Tom
