I have just acquired this brass French Bracket clock, and cannot find out anything about it.

It measures 7"high, by 5"wide, and 4"deep. It has dual time movement springs, and a sweep second hand that is controlled by a lever on the right hand side.

It has a barometer on the top which reads in cm/hg.

The movement has had the escape platform changed. and it has the usual patent and disclaimer info found on most French clocks.

Any thoughts or information would be helpful, as I have looked through many books, and have not been able to come up with much.

thanks in advance,

Ken

Can someone please help me with the French clock I posted recently. I cannot find any information anywhere. It is unusual as it has a sweep second hand that can be turned on and off. Also, it appears too big to be a carriage clock, so is it a bracket clock? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken
