Someone showed me the clock above. He mentioned that it is a rare piece and can't find one any where. Is this true and if so, any idea on value? Advice appreciated, thanks.

Here are some pics; Looks like dila is dmagaged. The holes under winding arbors are screws and bottom was cut off for the "customized" bottom. How bad has these things reduced its value? Thanks.
