I have a late 50's Seamaster that does not have 'Swiss' printed on the dial under the 6. Should I suspect a refinished dial or was it possibly not a USA market watch?

Thanks.

A photo would be invaluable here. Most like it is refinished, but examination of the font, etc. would make this clearer.

Dana,
About 10 years ago I emailed Omega and asked them the same question. There reply was that they could not guarantee that all Omega dials were marked "swiss made" but basically they were supposed to be.
