I was looking thru Rene's book last nite and noticed on page 62 , the Judson. I was not aware of this model. It is listed as being introduced in 1935. It looks something like a Martin with steps around the watch.

Can anybody share a picture or shed some more information

thanks

Gary

The 1935 date given in Rene's book is an error, as the watch was not announced to wholesalers until March of 1940 and the first group of watches was shipped out around the first of April of that same year.

It is a grade 982 watch and has a terrific stepped case, even the caseback is stepped. It came with either applied gold numerals or a two-tone gilt enamel painted Arabic numeral dial. The Judson is very scarce and was apparently offered only a year or two.

I have one, but sent the dial out to be refinished. I should get it back this week and will post a picture when the watch is reassembled.
