My first watch was a Mickey Mouse, but my second was a Texas Instruments led watch. I came across an interesting website for collectors of led watches including the Hamilton Pulsar. Here is the link.

Really cool Scott... it was great watching the 1970 "Tonight Show" clip and hearing the $1,500.00 price tag. To put that price in context, in 1970 you could actually buy a new Plymouth for less than three thousand dollars.

Hamilton never built a cheap watch and they were always out front on technology as well. The Pulsar was but one example of their forward-looking spirit.

That website is interesting! I just placed a resource link to it in our free and open to the world "Technical Library and Site Links" area. Check out the offerings there and consider adding some of your own!

They are great watches.
Here is one I am currently running on eBay. It is not under my usual idealtime name but I assure you it is my watch and auction. This is the Holy Grail of L.E.D. watches and there are only 20 thought to exsist with one being in the Smithsonian. It will be interesting to see what it sells for.

Thanks Lindell,
I have really had a lot of email requests to end this auction early. Big offers hard to resist but fun to play. Most of the 400 of these limited editions were sold to the likes of Elvis, Sammy Davis Jr., Presidents Ford and Nixon, The Shaw of Iran and many other celebs. I am told all 400 were sold in 72 hours.
