Not quite a Speedmaster or even an Accutron, but this one has a unique claim to fame...it was first in outer space...April 12th, 1961

Just thought a neat inexpensive piece to collect...
wonder what it says on the dial other than the date?

ok Tom my Ruski is bit rough since my last Russian
class was in early 80s
but it say the watch model name is Sturmanskie most likely made by Pobieda so from top

BTW very hard to kill watch if you ask me,they will go with out service forever and keep time.
