I came across this watch just this weekend and was told it was from the 20´s which I doubt! I was also told the movement was a landeron 54 which might be correct but thats what I am here for.I know many of you have much more knowledge regarding these watches than the so called sales "experts" Any help here? My WWW collection is now complete, time to look for new ventures! | |||

Werner Nice find. I like those black-dialed chronographs. The movement is a Landeron (most likely 54, depends on the exact diameter); cam switched; two pusher chronograph. These movements were build from 1937 to 1970, since 1950 with shock device). Not knowing the exact Leonidas model I would date your watch circa 1945 (+-5). Regards Gerald | ||||
