Rolex need some info.on this movement "Click" to Login or Register

I need some help finding information and source for getting parts for this rolex movement..

it is a 10 ligne size the only number i can find on the movement is # 59 down by the balance.

under the dial..
The set bridge is broke and the set lever and clutch lever have so much wear that i don,t think they can be used..

The movement has the # 59 down next to the balance..

Did rolex make this movement or was this one that was build for rolex by another company..

That was a Rolex-manufactured movement, as far as I am aware, used in all those WWII era Canadian Oyster Royal, Centregraph, Raleigh, etc. military style watches, and probably the usual Oysters as well.

Here is one on my Oyster Centregraph.

I'm pretty sure that's a Font movement. I have some material for a Font 59, but according to my fingerprint book, it looks like Font 30. There are very, very few set bridges with a 5 hole configuration. I'll look around some more to see if I might have something for that caliber.

I took a look at my bestfit book and checked the bridge your right it is based on the font 30 movement.. Smile
