What unusual watches!!

I find it interesting that all the dials have woodgrain running north/south (6/12) except for Rene's Pacer prototype which runs east/west (3/9). Do other examples exist with the grain running east/west? Were any dials released this way or perhaps some prototypes only? (The Flight prototype is north/south also.)

Regards,

Rick

Rene won't say it, but I will:

Rene Rondeau has a magificent Hamilton Sherwood on his web site (www.rondeau.net). It is a Sherwood N (I believe). Gold filled. Rodney case. Fantastic dial with Rene Rondeau certification of an authentic Hamilton Sherwood. Underpriced, according to recent market prices.

Joel -- I'm curious, what makes you think that Dan's Pacer is a replica?
