I bought a group of 6 parts watches recently, all Swiss manual winds to play around with, with hopes to repair or to least to get running. Here is a Croton 17 jewel, movement is marked AJRN A4730. This one needed a crown and case back missing, also is filthy, but will run and does keep reasonable time. Any thoughts or opinions here?

Been carrying an old Croton pocket watch several days a week for 7 or 8 years now.

Nice watch, scratched glass crystal, heavy nickel plating on the case, porcelain dial, bold blue hands & BM dial.

Keeps good time, easily slides in and out of my jeans watch pocket, but needs COA every two or three years because I carry it in dusty and dirty conditions.
