I just purchased this Lady Elgin early wrist watch and was wondering if any of you had some information of this watch? Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi John,

Your watch is from 1918. It is a grade 444 of which 478,000 were made of that model (model 5). It is also the first 10/0 size model 5 made.

This info is from this site:

http://elginwatches.org/databases/elgin_sn_intro.html

Just type in the serial number without comma's and enter and you'll get more detailed information.
