I have a 214 which has the spring on the battery hatch broken off. I found it inside the watch. The watch won't work without it because it makes the electrical connection between the battery and the hatch cover. I don't know how to reattach it.
Any suggestion?
Thanks->Bob F.

I guess noone is able to this problem. However, I did some web searching and solved it. There are 2 different springs for the 214. One is for a hatch cover with 2&1/2 threads the other is for one with 4 threads. Mine has 4. I wish I could show a picture but I can't. Anyway, the spring in question has 4 prongs which fit under the rim of the hatch cover and when I managed to do that, the watch started. I hope this may help someone with the same problem. Best rgards->Bob F.
