Need some help with this Bulova "Click" to Login or Register

I got this watch in an auction with a couple of other items and it obviously needs a new case. Does anyone have something that might fit for it?

Duane,
it almost looks like your watch was converted from a wrist watch to a pocket watch, this may have been either by choice or the bottom lugs got damaged.
Is there any evidence on the bottom of the case which would indicate lugs may have been there at one time.

I have similar styled Bulova wristwatch (sorry it's not available)

Duane,
from your latest picture it appears your
watch only ever had one set of lugs. This makes me think your watch may be what's called
a "fob watch". These were commonly used by used by nurses and they were attached to their tunics.

I don't know if you can read the engraving, but it is made out for a batallion chief for the South Bend Fire Department on 5-1-59.

Any guesses what something like this might go for as-is or how much it would cost to get a new case for it?
