Gallet replica? "Click" to Login or Register
posted
My dad had it for years, six years after he passsed I found it among his odd trinkets. Really heavy, looks good...but the name gallet on the face looks to be the font of a different watch. I can't remember what it was called now but gallet put out a watch that pilots used and on its face gallet was in a much curvy font.
this has the moon phase on the bottom, its a dark maroon...or faded blue?
It looks good...but im not a seasoned vet here so I kinda need some help and advice.
with the gallet name in a curving font instead of the blocked font dies that make it a replica?
I was my dads so it just the difference between a walmart band or a trip to get cleaned up and a new fancy band! LoL
but I would like to know all the same. watch
thanks

Mindy

This a good watch that was made quite some time ago.
I think a good leather band would do it justice. should be worth over $1000.
