Illinois ID help "Click" to Login or Register
posted January 04, 2012 11:13
My first post here. This seems to be "The Source" for Illinois watch information.
I have a watch that my grandfather gave me 25 years ago. I would interested in any info you can provide.
The dial has "Illinois Master" and some engraving detail.
The S/N is 4036613, it is lever set with 19j.
It is in original condition as used by the owner with a 14k chain, Masonic fob and T bar.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Dave

I show your serial number as being a 12 size, 19 jewel, model 3, grade 406, stem set, open face, made in 1922.

Thanks Tom.
Do you know how many of these were made?

It looks like around 92,000 from 1913-1926, not all of them were marked the same however, like yours being marked Master, they had many other names on the dial, Aristocrat, Pennsylvania Special, Burlington Watch Co. to name a few.
