Illinois Model # needed "Click" to Login or Register

I have had many people ask me for a balance staff for their Illinois Pocket watch , giving me the serial number. Does this determine the staff needed? In the most recent case a S/N 177577 , but his only yields the year manufactured. Is there some table somewhere for the model or better the staff?

It's an 18s Model 1, and the staff p/n is 79.
