I have a model 3 movement, 21j A lincoln 12s that seems to need a special case. Its serial number is 3143654, and if anyone can shed some light on this mystery I'd be most grateful. Thanks!

Well Mike, according to the Illinois Encyclopedia your 21-Jewel A. Lincoln number 3143654 is a 12-size, Pendant-Set, Open-Face, 21-Jewel, Model 3 in the A. Lincoln Grade from 1917 production.

I see references to the 21-Jewel A. Lincoln introduced in 1915 as a movement only and by 1917 being available cased only. I did not see any specific references to it taking a special case.

Hope this helps get you started,

Lindell
