How to Report an eBay Seller for Shilled Auctions

Its a complicated process, so here is how to do it in steps:

1. From the eBay Site Map and click "Rules & Safety"
2. That will take you to a help page. Click on "Security Center" on the lower left.
3. On the Security Center page click the button labeled "Report Problem" which will lead you to a series of picklists.
4. On the first picklist, click "Report problems with other eBay members"
5. On the second picklist, click "Problems with sellers"
6. On the third picklist, click "Seller is bidding on his/her own item using another USER ID"
7. Click the button at the bottom of the page marked "Continue"
8. This will take you to a "Contact Us" page, click the hypertext "Email" at the bottom of the page.
9.This will take you to an email form where you can put in all the details needed to fully define your shill bidding complaint.
10. When you are done, click the "Send Email" button at the bottom of the page. Safe Harbor will send you a confirmation email containing a tracking number for your complaint and a synopsis of the info you provided.

Best Regards,

Ed

Hi Ed,
Thank you for taking the time to do this.

I have, mostly, paid no attention to the shilling in the past, but it is getting so bad that it's time to do something, and not let it get too "out of hand" if we can.

Even a little, is better than nothing.
