Very moving song by Canada's troubadour, wish I had a high speed connection instead of dial-up that is soooo slow. This song is what Canada is all about, if there was no railway there would be no country. As I traveled from coast-to-coast during my career with the CPR you could not help but think of the Irish Navies, and the Chinese who made it all possible.

My other favorite railway song has to be "The City of New Orleans" Sung by Arlo Guthrie
