New Atmos clock owner has questions "Click" to Login or Register
posted October 05, 2004 18:25
I need to work on the bottom of my Atmos. The pads on the feet have come off.

After I lock the balance, do I need to do anything else before laying it over to work on it?

Charlie,
I don't know the answer to that one. I have, however, a good friend who has worked on them often. They are indeed a special breed. I will ask him tomorrow and respond, if you have not already gotten an answer.

Charlie,
No problem with tipping it over after the pendulum has been secured. The exact quote was, "After the pendulum is locked down, he can throw it!" So I guess tipping it over is not a problem.

Thanks Tom

Think I'll just tip it over - gently.

I do appreciate the information.
