Ken WyattLovely watch Jerry.
Who would have owned a watch like that?
We have a word in the UK "Posh" meaning expensive and exclusive.
Would your watch count as that when it was new?
Thanks for sharing it with me
Take care
Ken

Jerry FreedmanKen:
The watch was sold by Sears as a mail order item through the catalogue. The 1911 price was $32.75 to $34.05 depending on the case chosen. Hunting cases were slightly higher. Is that posh? I can't answer that, or guess who would have bought it.
